February 2012
W.Bro Mark Woollard was installed as Master of the Lodge for 2012 in an impressive manner by W.Bro Bob avery with over 50 people in attendance. We were delighted to have W.Bro Lyndon Jones join us as the representative of the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master and was handed a cheque for £1000 from our new Worshipful Master towards our 2014 festival target! Thanks to everyone who joined us and helped make it a memorable evening for W.Bro Mark - we also raised £300 from our raffle, and this will be donated to the Pilgrims Hospice. Best wishes to Mark for his year as Master of the Lodge.

Congratulations to W.Bro Peter Burton who as been Promoted to Provincial Grand Registrar, and W.Bro Andy Stevens who has been appointed Provincial Grand Steward. They will be invested at the Provincial Grand Lodge meeting at the Winter Gardens, Margate on 20th April.
November 2011
| In November we were honoured by a visit from W.Bro Brian Powell (Assistant Provincial Grand Master), accompanied by W.Bro David Alexander (Provincial Deputy Grand Director of Ceremonies) and numerous other Active Provincial Officers, who were treated to explainations of the Tracing Boards and Working Tools in all 3 Degree Degrees. W.Bro Hugh Pierce was able to come along as a guest and receive a cheque on behalf of MacMillan Nurses for £2222! Well done again to George Ball for his fantasic efforts. Thanks also to everyone who helped us raise another £200 for the 2014 Festival at the Festive Board! Bro Mark Woollard was declared Master Elect for next year - he will be Installed in February and we wish him a happy and successful year. |

October 2011
Our October meeting saw Bro Sean Roche take his 2nd Regular Step in Masonry conducted in an impressive manner by our WM! W.Bro George Ball announced that at a recent Darts exhibition match he had raised the magnificent sum of £2000 on behalf of the Lodge to be donated to Macmillan Nurses - this total was topped up by another £170 at the festive board. Very well done to George for all his efforts!
Our Annual Dinner & Dance took place ate the Marine Hotel on October 22nd. It was a wonderful evening of good food, company and the Dance Floor was busy all night! Thanks to everyone who attended and helped us raise £400 for the WM's chosen charities.
July 2011
July saw our annual Bat & Trap match take place against Sharpers Hall Lodge - we were lucky to have fantastic weather for the afternoon and thanks go to everyone who turned out to support the event and help make it a success! Unfortunately the Drew-Barton Trophy once again went to Sharpers Hall (+ guest players!) in a close fought game which was won with 2 traps to spare. The ladies managed to restore some pride however by regaining the Drew Barton Shield! Congratulations to them and to all for helping us raise £120 for our charities.
May 2011
May saw our annual LofI Festival take place, with the 1st Degree ceremony being rehearsed by various members of the Lodge. Wives, partners, friends and family joined us for the meal afterwards and we raised over £200 for the 2014 Festival!
April 2011
Our April meeting saw us welcome our newest member, Bro Sean Roche into the Lodge. Sean was ably Initiated by our W.M. with the assistance of his IPM in an excellent ceremony.

Bro Danny Ball was Raised to the 3rd Degree at our March meeting by our New W.M. who was ably assisted by his Immediate Past Master, W.Bro George Ball (Danny's grandad!).
Feb 2011
Congratulations and best wishes for the forthcoming year to W.Bro Robert Avery, who was installed in the Chair of the Lodge at our meeting on 5th February. A special occasion as W.Bro Bob is an Initiate of the Lodge and is our 1st Master Mason to take the Chair in 5 years! Thanks to everyone who attended (50+ people!) who helped make Bob’s evening a night to remember and raise over £300 for our Charities.

Congratulations to W.Bro Peter Dudley who has been appointed to the rank of Provincial Junior Grand Deacon. Also, congratulations to W.Bro Peter Burton who has been re-appointed as Provincial Deputy Grand Resgistrar and to W.Bro Frank Gambrill who has been promoted to the rank of Past Provincial Deputy Grand Sword Bearer. They will all be invested at the Annual Meeting of the Provincial Grand Lodge which will be held at the Winter Gardens, Margate on Friday 15th April 2011.
